Tylecodon Schaeferianus is native to rocky flats and cliffsides of Namibia where it grows in clumps.

Caring for tylecodon

1) It is dormant in summer and loses all its leaves

2) Place in an area with partial shade and bright filtered sunlight

3) Avoid watering in summer, water only when it is actively growing in winter

4) Use a very well draining soil mix as tylecodon is prone to overwatering

5) Fertilise only during winter when it is actively growing
