Pachyphytum Compactum

Pachyphytum is a small genus of succulents in the family Crassulaceae, native to Mexico, at elevations from 600 to 1,500 metres (2,000 to 4,900 ft).


Caring for Pachyphytum Compactum


1) Avoid prolonged direct sun exposure as the leaves will drop easily with heat stress


2) Pachyphytum are sensitive to water and fungal infections, treat regularly with a systemic fungicide


3) Use a full gritty mix that is well-draining and porous


4) Water only when the soil is completely dry and bottom leaves show wrinkles


5) Pachyphytum are better under-watered than over-watered
