Faucaria

Faucaria is a genus of around 33 species of succulent subtropical flowering plants of the family Aizoaceae. Faucaria species are native to the Cape Province of South Africa and the Karoo Desert.

Caring for faucaria

1) Keep temperatures between 21-32°C

2) Provide at least 3 hours of direct sunlight a day to encourage prolific blooming

3) Faucaria can be well watered during the growing season and allowed to dry thoroughly before watering again and will tolerate some over watering, but the challenge is to help them keep their compact form and prevent elongation of the stem

4) Faucaria does well in well draining soil mix but is tolerant of a wide variety of soil types
