Ariocarpus Confusus is somewhat a intermediate between the Ariocarpus tigonus and the Ariocarpus retusus. Ariocarpus confusus is a controversial taxon erected by Halda & Horacek in 1998 to indicate the plants of the Ariocarpus retusus/trigonus complex found in several locations around in the Aramberri region


Caring for ariocarpus


1) Ariocarpus requires full sun with partial shade


2) Ariocarpus requires regular watering as other succulents


3) Water only when the soil is completely dry


4) Ariocarpus only blooms when it reaches maturity, ideally within 6 years


5) Propagation by seed is slow


6) Easily acclimated in Singapore's climate
