Aloe brevifolia

Aloe brevifolia, the short-leaved aloe, is a species of flowering plant in the family Asphodelaceae. It is a tiny, compact, blue-green evergreen succulent perennial, that is native to the Western Cape, South Africa.


Caring for aloe


1) Aloe require full sun, at least 6 hours of sun a day to achieve deep vibrant colours


2) Water thoroughly once soil dries out, avoid leaving the soil dry for too long


3) Heat tolerant species that is easily acclimated to Singapore's climate


4) Well draining soil mix


5) Repot every 6 months to encourage root growth


6) Propagated by seeds or offsets that sprout from the bottom of the plant
