Peperomia argyreia, the watermelon peperomia or watermelon begonia, is a species of flowering plant in the family Piperaceae, native to northern South America, including Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, and Venezuela.

Caring for peperomia

1) Water when the top 2 inches of the soil turns dry or when the leaves start to droop a bit

2) Use a well draining, porous soil mix

3) Propagated by stem cuttings

4) Peperomia are not succulents, they require more water and higher humidity

5) Place in a bright room with indirect sunlight
